Five generations of Petrofs have been involved in making these beautifully handcrafted pianos from the Czech Republic, since 1864.  Due to the 20th Century geopolitics of eastern Europe, Petrof pianos were not well known in North America.

In the mid-1980s, as global tensions began to shift, Petrof pianos began appearing in North America.  At the time, they were much less expensive than their German and American counterparts which helped establish them here.

With their highly polished yet elegant cabinetry, and the classic “European” singing tone, Petrof pianos are a pleasure to see and play.

The 6’ 4” Model III is a highly expressive artist grand with dynamics to spare: delicate pianissimos, blooming fortissimos, a huge palette of tonal colors, and a very precise touch for total control by a skilled pianist.
